The recordings were all made on the Hubbard-Di Veroli harpsichord, finished in 1975. The instrument was once considered the best one in South America and is today in optimal conditions in Bray, Ireland. It is a Taskin replica with a chromatic compass from FF to g'" and the classical two-manual disposition: 8' and 4' on the lower manual, 8' on the upper manual, with manual coupler and a buff/harp stop operating on either 8’. |

When these recording were made the harpsichord was tuned to A=441 Hz because it was more often than not used with modern instruments. Such a pitch caused some broken strings. The instrument was recently set to A=415 Hz: it is now both more stable and even better sounding. |
